SeekMic Global — Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for choosing SeekMic Global. Because solid wood, parquet, and engineered wood flooring are high-density, heavy-freight building materials, all shipments are handled via specialized professional freight channels departing directly from our manufacturing base in Hubei, China.

1. Order Processing & Production Lead Times

  • Sample Swatches & Sample Kits: Dispatched via air express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) within 3–5 business days.
  • In-Stock Pallet Orders: Packed, palletized, and prepared for port dispatch within 5–10 business days.
  • Custom & OEM/ODM Volume Production: Production lead times typically range between 15–30 business days depending on square footage, surface treatment, and custom milling specifications.

2. B2B Heavy Freight: DDP to Destination Port Warehouse

Unless an alternative trade term (such as FOB, CIF, or EXW) has been mutually agreed upon in a custom commercial invoice, international flooring shipments ordered through our online platform follow DDP to Port Terminal Warehouse terms:

  • What Is Included (DDP to Port):
    • Full international ocean or rail freight (FCL full container load or LCL palletized container freight station).
    • Export customs declarations and terminal handling in China.
    • Destination country import customs clearance, inspection fees, and applicable import tariffs/customs duties.
    • Transfer to the designated bonded terminal warehouse / CFS (Container Freight Station) in the destination port city.
  • Warehouse Pickup (Free of Duty Fees): Once customs clearance is finalized, an official Delivery Order (DO) / release authorization will be issued. You or your local freight carrier can collect the palletized goods directly from the designated port warehouse.

3. Final-Mile Inland Trucking & Jobsite Delivery (Not Included in Base Price)

Please note: Standard online checkout prices and free freight promotions do not include final-mile inland trucking from the destination port warehouse to your specific project site, residential address, or private warehouse.

  • Why Inland Delivery Is Quoted Separately: Flooring pallets weigh between 500 kg and 1,000+ kg per crate. Delivery costs vary widely based on distance from the port, site accessibility, commercial loading dock availability, and whether specialized liftgate (hydraulic tailgate) or residential delivery services are required.
  • Turnkey Final-Mile Assistance: If you prefer turnkey door-to-door delivery, our logistics team is happy to coordinate final-mile inland trucking directly to your address. Please contact us prior to shipment for an exact, transparent trucking quote.

4. Sample Deliveries (Air Express)

Flooring sample orders are shipped via express international air freight (DHL, FedEx, or UPS) and are delivered directly to your door (Door-to-Door). Standard delivery transit is estimated at 5–10 business days globally.

5. Inspection, Freight Damage & Claims

  • Please carefully inspect outer strapping, moisture-barrier wrapping, and crate integrity before signing the Delivery Order (DO) or Bill of Lading (BOL).
  • If any freight damage or carton deformation is observed, take clear photos/videos immediately, annotate the damage explicitly on the driver’s receipt / warehouse handover slip, and contact our team within 48 hours at Contact Us.
